72 LT1 twin belts

I have seen photographs of 72 LT1 I am interested in purchasing and have noticed two belts on water pump pulley running across to alternator but I am told car does not have power steering and on other LT1 I (photo's only) I have not seen these dual belts. In tech info manual I have found a reference to dual groove power steering pulley on 454 engines but no other reference to these pulleys for other engines. Can anyone clarify this for me.

My 1972 LT-1 has 2 belts from the dual pulley attached to the Water pump housing. the inner groove(the one closest to the water pump) has a belt that goes to the altenator, the outer grove has a belt that goes to the A.I.R. pump.My car also has power steering and has a belt going from the power steering pump to the single pulley attached to the Crank.Hope that info helps because so many people ditched the A.I.R. system to free up a few horsepower.

NO PRODUCTION Corvette EVER ORIGINALLY used a dual groove alternator pulley---not a single one ever built.

NO PRODUCTION Corvette small block also equipped with power steering EVER ORIGINALLY used a dual groove power steering pump pulley----not a single one ever built.

ALL PRODUCTION Corvette big blocks also equipped with power steering used a dual groove power steering pump pulley---every one ever built.

Thank you all, I have looked at picture again and there is definitely two belts running over to the alternator. I hope to have this car inspected by Sal Carbone in the nex weeks so I am sure he will uncover mystery.
