    Mysterious Problem update

Some of you probably remember me posting that my 69 427/390 was quitting while running down the interstate. Well I bought another coil and condenser(el cheapos like me)and put them on. I decided to check the points, well I discovered that the Accel distributor was a dual point ignition. The points look OK, but there is another condensor inside the distributor. Do you change them like the one outside of the distributor? Are the condensors inside and out the same? I haven't seen a set of points in almost 20 years until I took the cap off my Vette, so I am pretty much lost.

The changes seem to help. Haven't had any stopping problems again and the car seems to run a little better. It had a pretty bad hesitation before the new coil. Now it just has some hesitation which I think is because all of the vacum hoses for the carb are gone, so I assume the secondaries have to open up based on air flow. Also, I've been noticing the electric fuel pump making some noise, so I might have a problem there too. If anything else comes up, you'll see it here first.

Thanks for all of the help
