I.Duke --- All OK in Mountain Time Zone (cable modem), but it WAS sporadically slower than other bookmarked sites Sat afternoon (ie. 10 seconds after click on header, and once Sat AM, it timed-out before the post appeared (NCRS server not responding).
Iron (Fe2 O3 / Fe3 O4 ?); now I know why you're up at 2300 hrs --- rust never sleeps. -

The inconsistencies drive me nuts. I can view a string of posts then click on another and NOTHING will happen, minutes go by, I log off come back on and it still just sits there, I have never experienced this response on any other site.

Same here in "eastern" So. Cal. Many times Sunday afternoon and evening I got a "could not connect to server" message. This happened in the middle of going from one message to the next.
Waited a few minutes (e.g. heaven forbid I went to another Corvette site) and tried again. Sometimes I got through and others I got the same message. Made doing any posting a waste of time. Hope it was just a server "glitch".
John, any ideas (is the ISP doing maintenance or experimantation)?
