Looking for name of Dealer in Mechanicsburg, PA

Hello All,
I have done a title search on my 68 convertible and the original owner Tery Gene Fattig Lived in Mechanicsburg, PA. This is a town between Harrisburg and Carlisle. Does anyone know if there was a Chevrolet dealer there in Febuary of 68? Anyone know how big a town this was then? Does anyone possibly no the location of Mr Fattig? I have found a couple of people on the internet that may be him and his son but the sites want to charge to give his current adress and phone. Anyone know if any of these sites are legitimate? One is called intelious.com and one is ussearch.com. Has anyone had any luck with these sites or can reccomend another? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Bill. I don't show one any of the notes I have, but SUTLIFF CHEVROLET CO in Harrisburg is still in business and was in 1968. Maybe there is an old timer there that might be able to help !!

One more thing, Lawrence Chevrolet is the current dealer in Mechanicsburg now. They are located on Carlisle Pike. I believe it's route 11. There might be some info you could get from them.

I work for a Mercedes Benz dealer in Camp Hill PA which is just next door to Mechanicsburg PA. The gentleman that owns the dealer I work for owned a local Chevy store in the past. I will inquire as to the names of the area dealerships at that time and see if I may be able to provide some info for you.

I would call and talk to the receptionist. I'd ask to speak with the person who's been there the longest. Maybe an auction driver, or mechanic. If you find a true old timer, he or she may not be real email savy. I've got a couple of 30 plus year employees in my dealership and they don't know what email is !! I'd make a call too ! Keep us posted.

Hello Tom,
I got a reply from someone there and he is going to talk to MR. Sutliff who has been at the dealership 60 years. He will ask him what dealerships were in the area at that time. I also got a reponse from Nick Leonardi that there was a dealership there called K.S.Rute Chevrolet Does that ring a bell with anyone?
