In checking specs for the 1967 model year, I understand that I need a Holley model 3310 for the 1967 327/350hp engine. This is type 4160. I have what appears to be a Holley replacement carb on the car. The carb does not have any sight glass window or the ability to adjust the floats externally with the typical screw/nut configuration at the top of the carb. It is not the original carb, but I thought correct for my application.
Here is the question: my current configuration is a single line feed from the fuel pump with a single inlet into the "radiator-side" of the carb. Is this single feed/single inlet the correct configuration?
One of the national distributors has new Holley's that are model 3310, type 4160 that has a single line feed from the fuel pump with a DUAL inlet at the front and rear of the carb. Ths unit is new, has the sight glass window, and does have the ability to adjust the floats with the screw/nut set-up at the top of the unit.
Is the unit on my car a modification of the fuel inlet configuration that was correct for the 1967 327/350?
Any advice is appreciated.......
