This question is regarding the brake line clip(s) just ahead of the steering box. There are two holes drilled on the top rail on the drivers side. The hole on the left looks like it has threads tapped into it. The hole on the right looks unused. The '67 Assembly Instruction Manual indicates there was only one clip attached with a screw. The '67 Judging Manual doesn't mention anything.
Some of the Vendor's catalogs say only one clip was used, others say 2 clips. Some say a green phosphate push in clip was used and others say these clips were zinc coated an attached with a screw. Does anyone have an original example '67 who can clear this up? My car is a small block with no A/C. Thanks for any information. PT
