1961 Fuel Injection Distributor Shielding

A few days ago I started a post requesting pictures for the distributor shielding for a 1961 315HP Fuelie. (Thanks Tom for your email) The pictures that Tom emailed me did not confirm or provide enough information to determine the correct distributor shielding for a 1961. Could some one describe the differences between the 1958-1959-1960-1962 and the 1961 shielding.

Noland has a detailed dissertation on ignition shielding with photos and illustrations on pages 414-417 of his C1 book.

I looked through Nolan Adams Vol 1 and could not find the shielding information. Thanks for the pages numbers, the information helped.

I emailed the gentleman that has that listing on Ebay and he is not sure what year it is for. That was the reason for the other dates and the ? mark.
