Pictures of my '75 Engine Compartment

    Hello folks!

I'm just about wrapping up my engine compartment and I'd like to post a few pictures and not quite sure how to do it. Could I send them to someone for posting?

    Thanks,
    Al

It has been a while since I posted any pics... let me see if I remember.

You need to go to photobucket or another picture hosting place and store your pics on a server. Then you cut and past the (img)alksjdhalsdjkfh(IMG) into the optional image url.

      I hope this helps.

      Best Regards, and good luck

p.s. I am trying to attach a pic below... if it works then my directions above will work.

I don't think it worked.. but maybe the pic was too big.. I will try one more time with a smaller pic, same instructions.

o.k. the trick is exactly as I said above, but you must remove the actual

          Hi Al,

My photo teacher Chris Patrick taught me the following

Adjust your photo you wish to send in a smaller pixel format such as 640 X 480

          Go to http://tinypic.com
Under "Browse" find the location on your computer where you picture is located and click on it. It should dump it into the box on the tinypic site.

          Next hit "Upload Now"

Next you hit the COPY tab next to the box named "Direct Link For Layouts"

Now when you post your response as you usually do on this site, there is a box listed as "Optional Image URL:

Get rid of the http:/ already there as your tiny pic data will already have this included.

Right click and paste your tiny pic data into the now clear box.

That should do it if I didn't have a brain cramp somewhere along the path here Al.

          Good Luck,

          Chuck

Try again, it would be good to see the results of your work in your engine compartment.

they work with photos. Remember to replace the "http:/" with your own URL. Then there will be less chance of so many red X spots.

And a final one of the hood. I still have quite a bit of work, but I started this weekend and it run real nice.

That darn heat valve or whatever it's called on the right side of the exhaust manifold makes a bunch of noise until it warms up and the valve opens via vacuum. Man....it clanks..... Can that be fixed not to do that?

Thanks again for all the books and helps folks!

                            Regards,
