Re: Help with posting a picture

    Craig,

go to a hosting web site like:
follow their directions to upload a picture from your computer.
After the picture is uploaded they will display several options, one of which is "IMG code for forums and Message boards"
Copy that URL to the "Optional Image URL:" box below your message.
Your URL should look something like: You may have to remove some thing on the front and back of the URL to make it work.

Re: Help with posting a picture

I use www.villagephotos.com as my FREE server.

Use them or a similiar web site.

      1. Upload your photos to that site following there directions.

(typically the file should not be larger than about 175k or the server

will not accept the photo file)
      2. View your photo that you want to show on this site.
      3. Using the edit tab "copy" the photo URL address. It starts with http//....
      4. Open the "Post Response" tab on this NCRS site.
      5. Again using the edit tab "paste" the http//... address in the body of the response or, "paste" it below under Optional Image URL. ( Make sure that "http//" only appears once )
      6. Test your work by using the "preview message" tab at the bottom before you post it. That will let you make sure evrything is the way you intended.

This is a typical URL used in the message body (photo of spring)

If you want the photo to appear as part of the message then use the address in the "Optional Image URL" space below the message area. I attached my car photo.

      Hope this helps....
