C3 4 speed Linkage adjustment

I have a 69 L68 that I'm having issues when trying to shift into reverse. Everything points to the linkage adjustment. In the ASM and Service manual they talk about insert locating gage into notch of control lever bracket assembly. Before I crawl under the car I was wondering if this is a tool or is this part of the linkage assembly? If it ia a tool where can I get one or is there something I can use in its place. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know of a commercial source for the tool. You have to make one up per the instructions in the service manual. It's very simple to make.

I made the tool out of an old flat beer can opener. The width was about right and I just cut it off so I could snake it into position. Shifter works great!!!

Thanks everyone, I'll see if I can fabricate one if not, I'll check out the two suppliers mentioned.
