C3 Door panel colour variance

Was there a difference in dark saddle tan door panels from 72 to 73? Is the D/S a different shade between these years. Am I correct in assuming that D/S from 70-72 was the same colour?

There is definitely a difference between '70 saddle and '71 saddle. 1971 and 1972 saddle leather use a different trim code number. However saddle vinyl for '71 and '72 do use the same trim code number. So there is a difference between the years '70, '71 & '72. However I do not know about '73 and if saddle (leather or vinyl) is the same as '72.

1972 saddle is quite a bit darker than 1970 and 1971.
