63 Header Bar Wiring Clips

The AIM shows the installation of six (6) of the metal wiring clips on the underside of the Header Bar to hold the Headlamp Harness. The parts houses sell them in kits of four. How many should there be? Thanks

Beware of reading AIM pages too literally. You'll note the parts list on each AIM page does NOT call out quantity for a given item! The AIM was written as a GM internal document to communicate the 'gist' of assy methods. If some aspect was critical (physical position, component assy order, Etc.), there's usually a NOTE on the AIM page drawing to clarify.

I installed four clips, but found six holes. Is the quantity or placement judged?

yes, if there is a clip missing and a hole where the clip should be - you will be dinged possibly one point for originality and one for condition
