    Personal view of DB etiquette

Just a quick observation. Some of us use this board for entertainment. Some of us use it for knowledge. Some of us use this board as a technical board and try their best to help their fellow Corvette owner and some use it to brag.
I use it for all of the above. I think that we should all try harder not to affend one another. I think we should use this board to help out the novice and be patient with the individual who doesn't know much about his or her newly acquired Corvette and just wants to learn what is happening. Sure the altered 64 we talked about is not the way it went down the assembly line. But so what. Now Roy left the board and I for one enjoyed most of his imput and ALL of his photos. Before him we lost my friend Michael Hanson. And there have been others. I strive to be courteous at all cost and above all to be honest.
Yes I do kid around with a couple of guys but that's because we are buddies.
Let's stop arguing about some minute details and have some fun before it's too late. A lot of us are senior citizens-me being one of them. Treat one another with respect otherwise failure and disappointment looms ahead.

A really bad day playing with an old car always beats a really good day at work.
But even more than that its the chance to find other folks who care about cars too. The DB is my main and best contact with these people. We can't afford to lose anyone wants to be a part of what the DB is.
          Regards,
          Alan
