1963 FI S-W and Campbell Chevrolet

Does anyone here have any information on Campbell Chevrolet in San Diego California? I have a 1963 FI coupe that sold new there and would like to know if the dealership still exists and if not what is know about them. I looked on the locator on this sight and no mention of them can be found. Thanks. Rick

Campbell Chevrolet is no longer in business, and I don't think that they have been for a long while. I don't think that any of the existing San Diego dealerships are "direct successors", either. As I vaguely recall, Campbell was one of those "small dealers in a big town". GM got rid of most of those years ago.

Do you know of any way I can find out more about them? I would love to have an old address and things like that. I found an old case number in San Diego County where they were involved with a law suit in 1927. I think they were around for many years prior to that. Do you happen to recall the street they were located? Thanks for all your help and input! Best regards, Rick
