Original 69 side exhaust?

What is the best way to tell if my side exhaust is original equipment? The fiberglass is blanked off in the rear but I can see exhaust hangers under the rear body.

Hello Don,
When was your 1969 Corvette built? There about 9 things different for a true side exhaust system 1969 Corvette. The was your built on January 10, 1969 to the end of production of December 1969?

At one of the regional events someone brought in a 69 side exhaust car. The Judge immediately noticed that the cross member under the car had the original openings where the rear exhaust pipes would go. He explained to the car owner that the car was a rear exhaust converted to side pipes.
