1978 L82 block color is green...i only see blue...what was the factory color for the motor???

It was called "GM corporate blue". You should be able to get this from many auto parts stores. Otherwise, you can get it from GM in spray cans under GM #12346300. Unless you can find a dealer that stocks it, you'll probably have to buy a case of 6.In Appreciation of John Hinckley
