    late 1969 a-arm finish

Are the upper control arm shafts natural or painted semi gloss black?
    Thanks

I might be wrong on this Bill but I thought they were painted separate from the controls arms...

I thought the bushings and retainer washers were natural and the washer bolts and lockwashers a black oxide or phosphate which would mean the arms and shafts were painted apart. At any rate the shafts were a black color and the arms should have a little more gloss than the frame does.

I'm pretty sure though that the C2 arms or at least some years of the C2's had the upper arms painted as an assembly.

I have a 69 survivor car that agrees with Greag's response. A-arms painted glossier than than frame. Control arms hardier to determine.
