    c1 seat tag found

i recently bought back my 61 fawn beige ( after 37 years) vette and when i owned it in 68, 69 i was the second owner. while looking in all the small spaces, behind the passenger seat was a 1x3 black tag affixed to the springs, line 1-mswbp 8 5 60, line 2-f a1f-1124-l4, line 3- 3782956-6. any idea what this might mean? vehicle vin is 10,800. thank you.

mike, understand FULLY. ive noticed registries for certain years, is there one out there for 61s. as i stated earlier i was the second owner, original owner lived in patchogue, long island, of course cant remember his name. am now the 6th owner, car remained on long island, and still is. have all history except dealer purchased from and first owner, any sound advice out there? at least im glad i saved photos of the car back in the 60s, its really cool to compare then and now. thanks, rich...

            Rich,

Does it still have the original engine? With such a high serial number I am curious if it is a 519 or 935 block. I know of a few confirmed late model year originals with 935s. Thanks, Mike

mike, no luck there. actually when i purchased car in 1968( from original owner) it had a 1965 327 in it, he told story of overheating the 283( 2x4) on new york state thruway ( while towing a small boat, have photos of trailer hitch) and trying to reach next exit and did not make it. car towed to chevy dealer and new motor installed. now has a hot rod 350 in it, already sold it to a kid in town.
