Alternator Diode Question

Probably a dumb question!?

Does anyone make a stamp kit to date code the alternator diodes? Or, do I have to send my alternator out to say John Pirkle to have it date coded? Sure would like to do this myself if possible.

If you can come up with the diode info, just go to your friendly stamp pad maker and have some made. Cost about $3-5 ea.
What year and model alternator?
