I had my local automotive paint store mix-up a pint of semi-gloss vinyl dye, to respray my vinyl dash area. (The dye I used, supplied by Paragon, was too glossy)
I paid $45.00 for a pint of premixed paint. The dye from Paragon was $14.00 in a rattle can, which I thought was reasonable. I thought the price I paid at the paint store was rather high.
What makes the product so expensive ? Or was it just this store charging more ?
What have others paid for this type of product ?
Hope this pint will do the trick and also be enough to cover the back area vinyl.
As 2nd question, can this product also be used on the door panels, or should I just clean the door panels ? They are not too bad. (I want to keep my orig. door panels.)
