78 Neg Camber

Im working on a 78 Corvette. The rear has negative camber. Tried to adjust but when moved to full positive I still have too much negative. I've known the car since day one and it has never been in an accident or curbed hard enough to bend anything and there is no sign of anything being bent. Is it ok to use the aftermark rod that is threded to account for this? I have frame dimension charts and all the measurements that are on the chart are in tolerance.

Good guess would be that the strut rod bushings are shot. Also the spring cushion rubbers are probably deteriorated. Does the spring have any arch left?
How about end play on the differential stub shafts. Along that era there were some soft shafts that the end wore off. Some wore to the point that the snap ring grove was actually eaten away and allowed the shaft to move freely in and out
