I attended the firecracker 400 in July, 1966. Sitting in the infield on a single slant-back car hauler was Ray Fox's 1965 impala which had failed to make the field that day. Since I was driving a '65 Super Sport I was interested in looking at their car, I approached the guys in the truck and ask if I could look at their car. Permission was given and for the next 30 minutes or so I crawled all over and under it. I don't know if Fox was with the car or over in the pits, but I appriciated them letting me look. Nice guys. Bill

It makes life great when people are friendly..maybe this is why Ray is still kickin at about 95.
