About to recondition my carb 3367 on my 66 coupe, Is there only one gasket under the carb for the iron intake?

On my 67 there is a gasket and on top of that (just under the carb) there is a stainless steel shim/gasket to keep the heat from the hot slot in the manifold off the carburetor. Check the AIM or Paragon book for picture, I am pretty sure 66 is the same way. Also check archives for picture of plugs used to block off this hot slot as you may want to consider this while everything is apart.
