Verle, I've been scratching my head .....

on your carrier cast #. I can't positively identify it as it contains bits of a few that I CAN find in my parts books.

Viz. the "EDB" is usually an Eaton designation (ie EDB_30175 for 4-series posi on '65 to '68(?) Corvettes. EDB_30117 for 3-series, same period. Then in '69-up(?) the Corvette carrier changed to "big window" type ED_32297 (3-series) and EDB_32298 (4-series).

Also, in the P&A30 parts books, there's a Dana carrier '57-62 Corvette Posi w/4.11 or 4.56 with numbers 22212X (same numbers except for the first of yours and the X at the end).

I realize this might not help, but it might point in the right direction
