for all you do it yourselfers, im finally able to start doing somethings myself, i do not claim to be a shade tree machanic by any means, small minor things,, like changing my oil and lubing,, ( i just got my kwiklift!!) anyways, im under my 78 today lubing up and couldnt find any grease zerts or zirts in the rear end,, is this correct or am i over looking them, i found 8 up front,, thanks for any help,, later doug

You will find no grease fittings, at all, on any part of the rear suspension of an ORIGINAL 63-82 Corvette unless they have been added. The following are commonly added, so you might look for these:
1) driveshaft u-joints, front and rear, may have grease fittings. They did not originally have such fittings, but replacement u-joints often do;
2) half shaft u-joints, same as above;
3) rear spindle support u-joints. There is available an aftermarket "conversion" which adds one or two u-joints to the spindle support housing in order to grease the bearings. It's VERY unlikely that your car has such installed, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
