    1957 Head Bolts ID

Can someone tell me what the correct head bolt, head markings are for a 283/270 hp 1957 model year? I thought I could find it in the Paragon catalog, but not finding it. Thanks.

Thanks Mike. I have a bucket of original fasteners from a '57 that I have being rebuilt, but couldn't remember what head markings were on them. I seem to remember a circle with something in the middle but that may be the exhaust manifolds bolt head marking.

The small block head bolts usually have a raised, circular perimeter with the manufacturer's headmarking (e.g. "L") in the center.
