C2: install orig.dealer name tag? judging effect?

Hello;
Should the selling dealers cast chromed name tag(Dale Chevrolet Waukesha WI),
that was on the car when purchased in 1985, be reinstalled.(double face tape)
Will it have an effect on judging ?

My 1970 Corvette has successfully been through ALL the major judging systems, having been shown in Flight Judging, Certification, BowTie, Survivor, Benchmark, Duntov, and Triple Crown classes. It has the original dealer cast plate (two drilled holes) still in place. I can not recall ever receiving a deduction for it. I did get a minor deduction for the Playboy ***** sticker in the back window at several of those events, however that IS another story. Even if you receive a deduction it will be minor.

A better place to spend your time is to be sure everything works. Operations deductions are 25 points for each line. Those add up quickly. Check and double check that everything works.

Yep, we all had a lot of fun with that back in the day.
Hugh must get a dose of Viagra with his transfusions now days. Have you seen his arm candy lately? There has to be something going on there.
I just didn't have time to get to the garage last night -- 12-hour days and 68-hour weeks are killing me in my old age.

Bill Dale (owner of the now-defunct Dale Chevrolet) is a very good friend of a very good ffiend. I see him resonably often. They have absolutely no records remaining. My 71 LT-1 (30k miles) has the Dale Chevrolet logo in black decal on the back.
