Bloomington swap meet & cars for sale

I'm thinking of heading to Bloomington next month and was wondering if it's worth going for the swap meet and car for sale section...or is there one? I'm not looking to pick up too much in the parts department as I have most of what I need for my 69. BUT, I'd be all eyes and ears if there was restorable/project tri-power 68 or 69 there for a reasonable price.

So is the Bloomington meet a good place to find parts and cars or would it be a waste of time?

Yes, they have a car corral, auction, and swap meet. Lots of cars and parts. It's definitely worthwhile in my opinion. Although the quality and quantity of original and NOS parts has declined over the years, but that's just due to supply drying up. I can always find a few things that I need though.

We brought a car there 2 years ago to sell. It did sell, but it was my first Bloomington in years. I was very disappointed in the number of cars for sale as opposed to what you would find at Carlisle or the old days of Bloomington.

If you're just going for a car, don't hold your breath. That's my take on it.
