    C-2 Shifter

    64 muncie shifter keeps binding during shifting from 2nd to 3rd? Have tried new linkage and shifter, still same results. Was told that it could be the shifter itself? Should change over to a Hurst? The original shifter had/has a lot of problems? Any comments/suggestions appreciated!

      Have you check the gates to insure the linkage is adjusted correctly?

          There is a fairly inexpensive rebuild kit for these shifters; after rebuilding and readjusting the neutral position, shifter should be like new.
