Way to go Gary ... now you're talking!!!

That's the best thing I've read so far in this thread. Real eyes looking at it in 3D. Just be sure they know the differences between real L89s and put together ones. You'll have to judge for yourself if it will be worth all the fixin' to put her back to correct. Sorry if we put you in a defensive posture but we wish to tell the truth from what we could see and read.

To be forewarned is to be forearmed...I appreciate all the help this thread has provided and am so glad I checked in...been an NCRS member since 1984 and this is the first time I checked out the forum...won't be the last...

I will let you know what happens...I spoke to the seller who advised that the window sticker is a repro...but will provide me with 2 names and numbers for previous owners that can account for the last 20 years of the car's history...stay tuned...

They did. But "HAD" is the operative word. Most were tossed in the 70's. I still have mine, but more than half the 68's I see for sale don't have the AIR any more.

          Hi Rich:
My 69 "had" A.I.R as well (only before I bought it), but I understand it to be a significant deduction in judging if its missing? Doesn't really matter to me, but it does affect the "collectibility" and hence the price?

          Regards...joe
