    Re:DUH! Slap ME Please!

Bill, Excellent question! In an earlier post I mentioned that I have been insured with Hagerty for 15 years. Never thought about this, before this thread, but, I don't recall ever making a claim. EXCUSE ME for my blindness! For all of you following this thread, please disregard my earlier post. I obvisouly don't know what I'm talking about!

      Re: Personel Experience

Well, maybe not personel, but close. A very good friend of mine had a total loss of his two cars, (56 & 57 Chevy). One valued at $18,000, the other at $14,000. He had American Collectors Ins. for "agreed" value. They paid up the claim in total. He had to provide them with the titles, he kept the cars. (The cars were beyond repair, even the frames were warped). The only problem he had with them is the time it took for them to pay off. They kept giving him reasons for him not getting his checks, (we lost it, it was setting on someone's desk and they were on vacation, etc.). When he did get them, it was like the second day of the month, made us think they didn't want a payout until all interest was collected? Anyway, he changed to Hagerty. Good move? I don't know.
