58-62 (C1) Oil Pans

I'm trying to understand differences, if any, in 1958 to 1962 Corvette oil pans. Were all 1958 to 1962 Corvette oil pans the same? Is the "3 step" the distinguishing feature?

I know that I read an article in the past year on solid axle oil pans but I can't find it now. I thought that it was in the Restorer but a search doesn't show it up. It may have been in Corvette Magazine. That's the only other one I suscribe to. I know thaqt there were more variations than I had previously thought.

I mean the "On Solid Ground" magazine. Here is a listing for a pan which sold on Ebay for what looks like 57-59 pan no. 3736615, with the baffle:
