    C2 convertible water leak

I have been chasing a water leak in the rear deck lid area of my '67 C2 convertible. Weather stripping is several years old and appears proper. I did notice that on the main body of the car surrounding the deck lid, there is a channel. However, any water that collects there has no where to go. Should there be drain hoses attaching to the underside of this channel ? It seems like at the rear underside of the channel on the right and left side, there are nipples where a drain hose could mount- is that correct ? I have not seen any hoses offered in catalogs or drawings in the Assembly Manual so I could use some clarification.

    Thanks, Mike

    Mike -

Drain tubes extend from the weatherstrip gutter on each side into the rear wheelhouses, directly above and slightly forward of the #4 body mount, just below the top of the underbody.
