    C2 idler pulley

    Hi,

    I just came across an idler pulley in a box of "spare parts" that came with the '63 I recently bought. It has a 327/340 with no power steering. Does anyone know what purpose this pulley might serve? Any help would be appreciated.

      it bolts to the left front of the engine and helps retain the v-belts on high rpm of your 340 hp engine. look in the assembly manual for its instillation. mike
