Spring Carlisle for C2's

Just curious, what's Spring Carlisle like, Corvette-wise? I've been to the August Carlisle...all Vettes.

Is the spring Carlisle show next week like...not much Corvette items?...some items and vendors...many? Or just a good variety of auto stuff?

Thanks. I'm looking for odds-and-ends for my '67; maybe luck into a bargain?

i'd guesstimate: 99.9% of items for sale at spring carlisle are non-vettes but when ya do stumble across a corvette piece, half the time the vendor doesn't have a clue as to application/value. just love those kinda guys. i'm goin up wed. mike

I was going to fly into an international airport (American Airlines),rent a car, and go to the Carlisle Corvette Show.I could never figure out which airport was the closet to the show! How many mies the drive would be!

Harrisonburg is the closest. About a 20-25 minute drive to the fairgrounds. Lotsa luck on a motel room this late though.

Not much goes into Harrisburg, PA International Airport. I doubt you could get a cheap fare.

You could look at BWI..Baltimore/Washington Intl. LOTS of cheap flights.

You'd have a 2 1/2 hour drive to Carlisle from BWI. Chuck

Also check Allentown (ABE) as an alternate small airport. As suggested, BWI is probably the closest hub airport. Philadelphia (PHL) is another choice, somewhere around 2-1/2 hours away as well.
