57 Passenger car radiator cap & rear springs

Can any of your guys tell me what the correct radiator cap is and how to identify it for a 57 V-8 passenger car/

Also do any of you have the specifications on correct arch for the rear springs of a Bel Air two door hard top V-8 3-speed car? Thanks KM

The original radiator cap was an AC RC-1. I do not know how to otherwise ID it, though.

The original rear spring for the application was GM #3733986 and of 4 leaves unless the car had HD suspension. If it had HD suspension, then the part was a 5 leaf spring of GM #3734002. I do not have specs for the arch on either spring.

Joe, Thanks it seems we guys that are wanting to do a 57 passenger car are kind of swimming in their own water. I thought at one time I read an aricle on 57 springs in the Restore, but have not been able to come across it. Maybe I will get a few more response and move on. Thanks

Don't feel bad 55 to 57 is the largest club in the World , no Galaxy , wait the Universe that's it. I've had many 55 to 57 Chevy's love them but this is Corvette funatic's world . Check googol under Chevy world.
