1976 Seat Belt Floor Retractor

I'm trying to help out my neighbor with the 1976 seat belt retractor that goes under the seat. The original one rusted out from a door glass leak which caused water to puddle in the seat belt well beneath the seat. I can fix the hole in the floor but the retractor mechanism seems too far gone to fix without a donor retractor. What other model cars would be candidates for interchangeable retractors guts for the 1976 Corvette? Thanks for any help.

I think a 74-77 will have the parts you need.

If anyone has any leads on just the right side, floor retractor, I would be interested in passing the information to my neighbor. Meanwhile, I'll be looking for one at he the swap meets.
