Easy, Battery cutoff, Fire extinguisher (does not have to be secured, just in the car) and NCRS logo on a window.

      Not enough info

      Stan,

I think your question is impossible to answer without knowing where you are already losing points, presuming your car has already been judged. And we would need to know if you already have an NCRS sticker, battery cutoff, and fire extinguisher.

          OPERATIONS CHECK

Cant think of an easier way to get points, see people all the time letting these points go and at 25 at a time. Phil 8063

            Re: OPERATIONS CHECK

With a reasonably well prepared car (maybe driven a few miles) and an owner who actually knows how the car should operate, (read the owners manual) OPS should be 100% all the time...

                Re: OPERATIONS CHECK

Hi Bill a reasonably well prepared car are the ones that the owners take opps for granted. The windshield washers worked BEFORE, and this and that also worked, my point is Dont take opps for granted check them, its the easiest and cheapest points not to loose. Phil 8063

                  Absolutely correct!

Check and double check ops, and the key to doing that is to understand exactly how the car is supposed to operate. I saw firsthand at San Antonio how difficult it was to do a C-4 ops if either the car owner nor the ops judges know exactly how the car functions. Two of the cars in my group ops checked at 100%, and the third lost many points. Unfortunately the Judges started with the third car. Both the owners namual and the PV guide published by NCRS are a must read for the satisfaction of "taking ops for granted" but 100% plus 10 bonus points is both attainable and a lot more cost effective than a re-engine or repaint for in some cases, equal points gained.

                    Re: Done all that! THANKS!

The car has a 97.2 at the Windsor Nationals and a PV. I guess I'll have to settle for slow, hard, expensive points. Thanks guys
