69 Master Cylinder

I need a master cylinder replacement as mine in in-correct. In the Judging Manual it states #5480346 with power brakes. I have found 5460346 being reproduced under license by Corvette Stainless Steel Brake for a 69 corvette with PB.

I am confused, which number is correct. Are there other vendors to use? Please help me down this bumpy path.

There is some confusion over whether the third digit is a 8 or a 6. Don't worry about it. If that is the only thing that bothers you about the reproduction -- get it. Every vender gets the MC from the same source. In spite of our enthusiasm there is not enough of a market for these things to support two sources.

I go along with Terry. We have done limited research and find both these numbers on original cars. We have come to the conclusion that it was just a bad number plate when they were cast. Do a search and you will find a long discussion on this subject within the last year.
