    Al Knoch

What's the secret in getting in touch with the Al Knoch folks. I leave messages with the receptionist, I leave messages with the sales folks, I talk to folks who say that they will call back, I send Faxes, and still never a call back. Is it me? Unless they have been talking to my wife, they as yet can't know that I am a jerk. What's the secret? I have questions on some parts I have received and on some I haven't. I've been working my way up from sales, to Dale, to Al, and still nothing. Is this typical?

Thanks for any insight anyone can offer.

    I feel your pain....
I ordered black door panels on the 12th. Told I could have them in ten days. Here it coming up to the 1st of April and not a word from Al Knoch.

I have been dealing with Dale for over 15 years with no problems. If something is not right, Dale takes care of it.

Thanks for the responses. Maybe it's just bad timimg or something. Maybe they're busy. I'll keep trying.

Again, thanks for taking the time to respond.

Being a former vendor, I can tell you that Spring is by far the busiest time of year. Everyone wants their parts yesterday

Dale has always been great with getting back to you with a response, but it's been difficult for the past 2 weeks. I can't even get through on his cell.
They must be over loaded right now.

I finally got someone to call me back. It was Al himself. I guess they have been pretty busy the last couple of weeks. I guess one of my messages, or emails, or faxes found it's way to him. He's a good guy.

Its only going to get worse, Al now supplies corvette central so hopefully quality stays the same with the increase in quantity. Jim

Al has been C Central's supplier for years. The vendors that sell top of the line interiors have used him for years.

Al is the best. I just had the carpeting replaced in my '57 and the car looks like new!!! Be patient, they get busy, it took 4 months for me to get the carpet delivered (manufacturer problem), but it was worth the wait.

If possible for you to attend one of the spring car shows that Al attends that may be the quickest way to get what you need. His operation brings giant trailers packed with inventory. It's cash (or credit card) and carry but be sure to ask for the "show special" price sheet first! He will also haul whatever you need for you to pick up so as to save shipping if that is a good option for you. And if you get on his packed schedule, you can also have things like the top or interior refitted under a tent adjacent to his area. Check Al's website, I think that he lists his show schedule somewhere on it.

                          Bob,

I had questions re the carpet I purchased. Called and no response. Sent email photos and no response. Called and spoke to Dale and he said he would look at the emails. No response.

Dissapointing that once they have your money all those customer service promises dissappear.

                          Randy

Sounds like it is hot and cold as far as the customer service goes.
