While I'm at the blast cabinet tonight

Almost had a coronary this weekend. I couldn't locate the top radiator bracket with the rubber mount.

After tearing the garage apart (twice), life was once again "good" as the M.I.A. bracket was located.

Now, while I'm at the blast cabinet, what about all the bumper braces and brackets (front and rear) for a 68? Natural or painted?

Mine (1968) are natural. I have had the car since 1972 and they were natural when I got it in 72.
What color should they be painted?

But the appearances of all my brackets would indicate that mine were natural as well.

I couldn't find one stitch of paint even on the rear bumper brackets that are bolted together.

Not that I'm all that concerned, but it's another one of those things that won't take a lot of energy to have look "correct"

I think I'll go natural
