C2 Exhaust Manifold Cooking Tempature?

Was about to cook my freshly painted exhaust manifolds on the barbeque grille when a friend offered to bring them to work and bake in their ovens. Now the question is at what temperature should they be baked at? Any special time?

May still have to paint the ends before I start the car to get that orange look on the end.

If you plan to start the engine anytime soon, then there's no need to bake the manifolds---they'll "self-cure" from exhaust heat. Even if you don't plan to start it soon, they'll still cure this way when you do.

If you do want to cure them in an oven, I think about 600 degrees is what you need.

Dont bake TREAT

Al did you coat the manifolds with anything before painting??? I have a process to coat them and they will look like cast iron and never rust ever. Then when the paint burns off in places they still will look super. Phil 8063
