C2 67 Inst. Panel removal - loose piece?

I just removed the Instrument panel on 67 and as I pulled it off the rods after disconnecting everything, a small pressboard piece 0.75" X 1.25" fell down (see attached pic). Can anyone tell what it is/ where it goes?

Bob,

It goes in the back of your ignition switch. IIRC the hole allows light to illuminate the switch
