Does anyone know the name of the material brand name ,discription, thickness or other information on C2 jack compartment covers? Thanks

If you are talking about the fiberboard material, I call it masonite fiberboard, 1/4" nominal thickness available at HOME DEPOT for about $4.
Made a new one last year.

Did the edge come out looking original, or frayed?

Looks like the original. Probably depends on what saw blade is used. Also there are various grades of density of the hardboard which can affect the edge. The stuff I bought was called DURATEX tempered hardboard. Bought it at HOME DEPOT.

I thought about doing it my self as well ,but was worried how the edge would turn out. What type of blade or routter did you use?

Just a scroll saw.... relatively fine blade.
