62' Side Emblem

Does anyone out there know of anybody that restores emblems? I have a set of original side crossed flags that are in need of new mounting posts, re-chomed and re-painted.

For that much work (broken mounting posts, bad chrome & faded/missing paint), I'd say forget about trying to save what you have and just go purchase a set of reproduction badges!

I got to agree with Jack, some things are just not worth the time and money to restore.

The original Side flags are a thin style. 1963 and latter are thicker which I think the reproductions are. The originals also have a distinct parting line that runs horizontal along the top. Page 32 of the 5th edtion Information manual.
