    1955 rear axle assembly

    Anyone know if a 56-62 Corvette or 55-64 Chevrolet ring and pinion carrier will fit into a 55 housing. I know there are slight variations in the specifications and the 55 has c clips but didn't know if the later stuff could be made to work. Any input appreciated. Thanks.

      NO way!! nothing will work 53-55 Corvette ring and pinion are all by it self , if you cant find one you need to go 56 up complete assy-axle to axle
