Can phillips head screws that exactly match originals be found in a hardware store, or as usual, will there be some small difference from originals?

If you want to refinish them, you may be able to find the right size, length and head (countersinking crown head cross recess in black phosphate?). Refinished, they will be indistinguishable from the originals IMO.
Virtually everything you find in hardware departments will be zinc plated or stainless steel, neither of which is going to work for most interior applications.- Top

Chuck,
I'm not sure my post was clear...I mean the 5 screws that attach the door panel clips to the bottom of the door and front edge. The JM describes them as pan-head phillips. Is that what you thought I was asking about?- Top

Yes, but I think C3s use a countersinking crown head screw in that application; that's why I put the question mark.
In any event, the post comments remain the same...you can find pan head phillips anywhere in zinc, but better compare diameter and contour of the pan head; pan heads vary. If zinc is what you need, then your cup runneth over. Worse comes to worst, you can always strip them and refinish them if black phosphate is what you need.- Top
