My Nov, 04 built C6 now needs them. At first, it did not need the bumpers as the doors fit perfect. Over time, the lower rear door corners have slowly sank inward.

Roy,

If you know someone who can do computer graphics, have them graft your bubble top on the C6 and post the picture.

That will enliven the conversation.

my C-6 was a sept 04 build and when i saw it the

first time i saw the problem so i made my own bumpers. at the C-5/C-6 Bash at NCM in april of 05 i showed the corvette plant engineers the problem and my fix. it took them awhile but they came out with the same fix. no i did not get compensation either.

I just got back from driving my 06 and looked and it's perfect !I dont see the reason to do anything and it's now got 12K , Man what a Corvette, I just cant belieave what a great Corvette it is. But thanks

don't post it on the CF board

i was kicked off because i pointed out that one of their sponsors was selling these bumpers and chevy would install them for free. i had posted my fix when i did it in 2004 and the same guy that was selling the bumpers now posted back then i would cause damage to my doors. he was selling stuff with "corvette" and "GM" on the product and he got a "call" from GM about not having a licence to do that. he kept e mailing me about how i ruined his business and he was stuck with all this stuff he could not sell. i just e mailed him back and told him if he thought GM was tough wait till the IRS called. never heard from him again.
