Gentlemen,
I've recently come across a set of four Kelsey Hayes steel wheels. They appear to be correct in all aspects, i.e., GM stamp on the front, 15X51/2JK stamp, no lobes/ears to retain the dog dish hubcaps, and aare constructed for disk brakes, etc. The feature that one would expect to be present, but is not, is the date stamp. This is a used set that has been around for a long time that is still in good shape, so that rules out a new product.
Question: Is this an undated service replacement? Did the stamp guy with the hammer and die take a smoke break? Is this a normal occurance? No, there is no "Made in China" stamp.
Anw help would be appreciated.
Kenn
