C1 Window Regulators

I need to have the window regulators in my '57 rebuild. Can anybody on this board recommend a vendors that provides such service?

Or e-bay under 55 to 57 Chevy and Pontiac Nomad there the same regulator

I guess the first question would be what's wrong with it? Are the teeth on the gear missing, just loose or what? Most parts can be bought either repo or e-bay. Why not do it yourself?

I think Roy may have led us all astray there--the window regulators are quite different on the Nomads--but the power window switches are the same. My 57 and 58 parts books both indicate that the Corvette regulators are Corvette only.

Yes the nomads will work , regulator, power motor ,switch's, door wire shield and you could make the wiring harness work with a little work and even the door hinges if you needed them.

Roy aren't the window regulators the same in the conv. Hdtp and nomad????

You could be right but I had Nomads along with these nasty Corvettes, I did own a 56 Chevy Vert that had the accessory rain sensor which few people knew what it was . I think your right!
